Well painted! I'm painting some 28 mm horses and noticing my brush often strays off the reins and harness. So, I'm impressed by the way you keep on target with much smaller reins. Grelber

Thank you, Grelber. Reins and harness are a challenge at any scale. The new contrast/speed/xpress paints help a lot with these smaller figures. Citadel's Contrast Gore-Grunta Fur has a nice reddish-brown colour. It has excellent flow properties too. This is my go-to now for the base colour of reins and harness. There are similar options for black leather as well. Robert

Thanks for posting. I was thinking of this very range in 10mm. I have Magister Militum (now Baccus Tenth Legion) 1914 French and Germans. MM never did a Russian army but I think these Turner "sculpts" would mix well enough. Great paint job by the way.
