LIDL in the UK are offering the Airfix Tiger I, Sherman Firefly, DUKW and Spitfire Mark 1 for £6.99 GBP – very handy for 20mm WW2 wargaming. All kits are supplied with transfers (decals) plus pots of paint and a brush.

On another aisle you will find the Revell Mayflower in 1:83 scale, HMS Victory in 1:225, and TWO Revell models of the RMS Titanic in one box – one model is 1:700, the other is 1:1200. All are £19.99 GBP and include paints and adhesive.

My sincere apologies for a previous shopping post which included a bad link, luckily it was for a WW1 aircraft and not something from 'private browsing'.

In case you missed it the link below was the one I MEANT to send you to, acrylic inks, brushes and white pom poms for on-table smoke screens in The Range:

It has been brought to my attention that the Airfix offer at Lidl also includes the P-51 Mustang. My store does not have the Mustang in its stock so be aware that it may be available at some outlets.
Someone also disputed whether this is really a discount but I checked with my nearest Hobbycraft (NOT the cheapest place I will admit) where these Airfix kits appear to be about £1.00 GBP more per item and that is without the extra paint, paint brush and tube of adhesive that are included at LIDL.
I was unable to find a comparison on the Revell kits in Hobbycraft.
