I have gone many different directions in miniatures since my first Marx Civil War set. From there it was Airfix then I caught "lead poisoning" at The Hobby Shop in my 30's. I painted Minifigs figs in medievel ranges. I moved to Napoleonics (my favorite mil.hist. area) and then to others. Currently, I have 28mm metals in ACW and Arthurian for skirmish; Warlords 13.5mm plastics for TYW (I also used them as Marlboroian but don't tell) for self-contained battlefields; and 8mm Travel Battle for Napoleonics for large battles. I don't really game with any of them, now. I just set up battle scenes and experiment with look to, hopefully, understand what a battle really looked like. OK. That is it for now. Thanks for reading! |

That's OK. As long as YOU know why you have them. Though to really understand what a battle looked like, you might want to go smaller than 8mm. |

Thanks, Robert. Yes, I understand it is still very imperfect, but it is as close as I probably will get, at this point. |
