If Gaza's famine was real, how come it went away so fast?
Shift from famine declaration in Gaza to normalcy happens in the space of a few weeks

Interesting opinion piece by charity officer.

Faux Noise??? Hardly a legitimate news source for much of anything.

Certainly any member of Hamas that appeared, armed and hooded, looked very well fed.

Anything reported by hamas is false. That said, I do trust their videos of the celebrations of their attack on the music festival. Nothing quite compares to a large group of heavily armed men shooting and terrorizing unarmed civilians.

I'll never forget the funeral of the hamas fighter when they dropped the coffin and the guest of honor got up and ran away.

Turns out if you don't bomb people quite so much and allow aid convoys in then things get better. Who Knew? :)

😱 They lied! 😱 Shocked I tell you! Just shocked! 😱

But they always told the truth before! Say it ain't so! Say it ain't so! 😔

"Either the crisis was overstated, the data manipulated or public perception deliberately managed."

I vote all 3

"Nothing quite compares to a large group of heavily armed men shooting and terrorizing unarmed civilians."

Col. You are being too kind. 🙂

They brutally murdered, raped, tortured, burnt alive, decapitated, men, women, children and babies. Both civilians and military. I think the only thing they didn't do, was cannibalize them while dead and or alive and to be honest, I would not put it past them.

Interesting choice of source there Bill (I'm just asking the questions; freedom of speech).

"The organization provided support to those affected by the Gaza war. In November 2023, the President of Samaritan's Purse, Franklin Graham, visited Israel to assess the damage from the 7 October Hamas-led attack on Israel and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. The organization provided hygiene kits, hot meals, food boxes, and vouchers for internally displaced people in Israel. Also, rescue teams were provided with medical equipment, including defibrillators and 1,000 trauma kits for rapid emergency care. Hot meals and food were delivered in partnership with 50 local churches.During his visit, Franklin Graham suggested that Magen David Adom, Israel's emergency services system, equivalent to the Red Cross first responders, needed a small fleet of armored ambulances. As of September 2024, Samaritan's Purse is donating 42 ambulances to Magen David Adom. The organization was also working to support two Christian communities in Gaza by coordinating evacuation routes for them. In July 2025, Samaritan's Purse began airlifting food to Gaza, sending 65 tons of food for starving Palestinians on three air missions."

While Hamas played it up, the famine was real, according to a mate of Lebanese (Coptic) descent. I have no doubt Hamas were well fed- crims, pollies and fundies look after themselves first and everyone else last. Azor's not a fan of either the Israelis nor Hamas/Hezbollah/PLO/Palestinians in general, but he's less of a fan of deliberately starving kids.

Either the crisis was overstated, the data manipulated or public perception deliberately managed.

Or understated by some governments, chair-polishing "experts" and gossip-mongers.

As for those who don't believe there was a famine, you could make a mint from all the child actors who were so brilliantly pretending to cry, pretending to be desperate and volunteered to look starved, if you got them to Hollywood. It would be worth going over there in person to choose the cutest actors, too. Just let Israel and Hamas know you're coming, so they can have the kids ready for you to collect.
