Great work on those, L Empereur! One of these days I will get back to doing some more recon vehicles for my 6mm stuff. |

I'm used to vehicles being mounted on their bases centered and square with the sides of the base. A numb er of your halftracks are based at an angle, as if caught in the middle of a turn, which gives them something of a dynamic feel. Thinking about it, we don't do all our infantry standing at attention, though I'm pretty sure all WWII soldiers knew how to do that. Our figures are in all sorts of positions, the more dynamic, the better! With vehicles, you can't do that; the tracks, the wheels are caught in just that one position, which could be stopped, moving forward, or (Heaven forbid!) moving in reverse. An interesting approach to basing! Grelber |

It is the challenge of the German language that these are a Panzer-Aufklarungs-Abteilung (with an Umlaut of course) and not just a recce unit in English or unité de reconnaissance in French. |
