The Blood and Plunder board was amazing. Would have loved to play that. Also loved the Lego game!!! Man, as a kid I would have been all over that one!

The Roman Colosseum also caught my pictures yet didn't see it played. I contend the Ben Hur chariot race is the best 15 minutes ever put on screen.
The Sharpe game also thought exceptional board.

Good review and photos. My perspective was different: went to help a friend downsize and he wanted to leave immediately afterward, so I spent most of my time in the Black Hole of Lancaster. From what I did see, I agree: nice-looking games, but out of proportion to the number of attendees.

Trust me, there weren't enough people going through the merchandise with flashlights to have made a difference--and without the attraction of Wally's Basement, some of us wouldn't have been there at all.
