I've just about finished. (In the middle of El Chaco).

It's mostly good.

The Ghengis Khan stuff is awful. If you read the book, just skip ahead to Henry 8th.

And I'm struggling with including Caligula. Evil? Or mentally ill for medical reasons?

There's a theory that Caligula was just really sarcastic, but his enemies (who wrote the histories) presented this as madness. Or perhaps they just didn't get his sense of humor.

Also a bit absurd to label Henry VIII as evil and class him with Hitler, Stalin, etc.

Henry 8 was pretty despicable. Had he had 20th Century technology, he'd be up there with them.

O'Reilly's Catholic and Irish. You think he's not gonna call Henry VIII evil? laugh
