The shiny and flat look of mousepad gaming mats totally pops the illusion for me when I look at a game table. I get they're convenient and all but give me fleece or felt every time.

Now if you'll excuse me I have a cloud to go yell at.

But mousepad isnt really the new hot thing. Its rubber mats with nice ground details

They are convenient

I use them for Wings of War/Glory

For SYW, ACW and other gaming with hordes of minis I use good old green felt groundcloth with terrain o plenty

I like them for naval games.

I prefer the neoprene mats over fleece for most uses .

I'm with Crispy. I own about 20+ fleece mats and only 1 neoprene. Hands down my 1st choice is fleece.

Thanks.

No, OC. You're just going to have to find a bigger rodent. A beaver, perhaps?

Give that man a cigar! Made me LOL! Good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I read that… Cheers!

Back in the old days some people used to mount buildings, swamp and trees on CD disks.
