A 3d scanner is the obvious solution but, from my limited understanding, the resolution available in hobbyist level devices produces results that aren't worth the effort. Maybe someday…

A project. X3. May have a look at making a 3d pantograph of wood. Or just sculpt larger, it's pretty basic.
