Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last posted on my website, but I just finished part two of the combats that occurred on 24 December 1806. Please let me know what you think or if you have any questions. Michael Sorry for the double post! It said an error the first time. link |

Good effort – for a general account of the "Action at Kolozab, 24 December 1806" by Robert Goetz on The Napoleon Series Forum with OoBs for both sides and a map see link |

Prince of Essling, Thank you for your response and the links. I included links to both of his articles in my post. While his articles are excellent, I aimed to share the stories of the men who were on the ground, rather than just providing an overall overview of what happened. I intended to take the accounts of Brosset and Arnaud's actions d'eclat from their service records that I found in my research and transform them into a narrative about the battle. In that regard, I believe I accomplished my goal. However, I am still going through the regimental rosters to get a closer estimation of how many were killed and wounded. Michael |
