We played a small skirmish game set in upstate New York during the Saratoga Campaign of 1777. Five first time war game players did a great job of understanding the rules and how to play. They are looking forward to coming back for another game. Prior to the game I wrote some quick rules that fit on one side of a 5 x 8 post card. A copy of the rules is in the blog report. Click on the picture of the game rules to enlarge it enough where you can read it. Feel free to copy and download for your own personal use. Here is a link to my blog and game report: link
The figures are largely Fife and Drum Miniatures 28mm AWI figures and some civilians from other ranges. The buildings were made by Herb Gundt and the ground mat is from Cigar Box.
