I am looking for some smaller sail ships circa 1776 as one might have seen on the Hudson River during the American Revolution. I'm thinking of something smaller such as a schooner or brig because I don't want it to dominate the tabletop scenery . Does anyone make such ships for 28mm figures?

Would Firelock Blood & Plunder ships work? The B&P are 28mm miniatures generally to go with their ships. Check out ebay sometimes for better prices or order direct.

They have brig's, sloops, longboats etc.

I second both recommendations.

I would also go to Old Glory shipyards for sailors. They aren't in the main catalogue.

Fire lock. They sell well. I only have a sloop in stock. My last ship.

I picked up a couple of smaller ones on ETSY. Look under ships for D and D.

Printable Scenery makes several as 3D files, but they have a number of licensed sellers that sell the physical models
