If you have not heard, there is good news. Rawkins books are available through Anschluss Publishing once again. Just a few titles initially. It appears plans are to add more until completion of the series of books.

This is truly great news! Rawkins books need to stay available to serious students of the Napoleonic wars! If they have kept the content the same then 3 cheers for Anschluss!

That is excellent news. I will be picking a few up. Thanks

I liked where they say 'the first in a large series'. I have just subscribed for updates and news.

Terrific news – thanks for sharing that!

This would be very good news. I was wondering if they will be reissued electronically. My copy of the one on the Austrian-Hungarian army is more than 400 pages long so I doubt that a physical copy would be economical. Does anyone have more information?

@Trockledockle,

From an exchange I had earlier about the Baden Wurttemberg volume it was very clear that it was to be an abridged version of Rawkins' work. I suspect all of the printed volumes will also be abridged because of costs.

In my personal view as I expressed at the time it would be far better to issue the full versions as CDs even if they charged a bit more than Rawkins did!

This is excellent news thank you. I take it what we purchase will be a paper copy (edited in some way we don't understand, but hopefully in a way that is not too detrimental), rather than a disc or electronic format. I'm initially interested in the Baden volume that appears on the page and the Hesse one when it appears.

Regards,
John
