I have a modern bridge in 1/72 but to be honest its not great, as you may be aware all my scenery (pretty much) has to fold flat due to the huge amount I have to store. The 1/72 bridge though it looks similar is a real pain to assemble and a LONG WAY off 30sec compliant, the time I would like all my buildings to fold up in. The new one here is a slightly different design in fact it's 5 pieces.

While not fully 30 second compliant its a lot closer than the 1/73 despite being smaller, which usually make things harder. The clearance between the road and the bottom of the bridge is a scale 21 ft. This is a bit higher than I would like but there is a minimum practical size for the angled supports and this was the minimum height I felt that looked reasonable with the minimum size of angled structure.

I'm very pleased with the flocking, typically flock and thin card are incompatible. This time I spray lacquered the ramps before applying the PVA and Flock. This worked really well the PVA stuck to the lacquered card but did not soak in and distort the card. It will not stand hundreds of folding and unfolding but this type of scenery does not get excessive use.

So what do you think?
