I have searched but failed to find any postings on these rules. I bought them a few weeks back but havnt played them yet. Anyone here who have? If so, what did you think about them? |

I played them a few times years ago, found them heavy going
very detailed, good vehicle stats though if I remember correctly. Also played the derivative Korps Commander for WW2. Stick to small battles if you want to use these rules. I Abandoned both when Spearhead came out. |

More "fiddlely" than Command Decsion. About the same scale as Spearhead and CD. |

Whilst touted as a Corps level set, I would hesitate to command anything more than a division with these. They also bear an extremely strong resemblance to the tactical rules used in SPIs 'Highway to the Reich'. They have some interesting ideas but are a very 1980s with individual base step reduction etc – a bit like Jim Wallmans 'Stonk' (a far better set of rules IMHO, available for free from freewargamesrules.co.uk). |

I've used them for 20mm, adjusted the scale, and played Brigade sized games, and remember them as a lot of fun – even though all of the above statements are true. Give them a try. |

I have created a reasonable detailed video review for Corps Commander. In addition the old yahoo group site has moved to IO:Group."link |
