I have searched but failed to find any postings on these rules.

I bought them a few weeks back but havnt played them yet. Anyone here who have?

If so, what did you think about them?

I played them a few times years ago, found them heavy going…very detailed, good vehicle stats though if I remember correctly. Also played the derivative Korps Commander for WW2. Stick to small battles if you want to use these rules.

I Abandoned both when Spearhead came out.

More "fiddlely" than Command Decsion. About the same scale as Spearhead and CD.

Whilst touted as a Corps level set, I would hesitate to command anything more than a division with these. They also bear an extremely strong resemblance to the tactical rules used in SPIs 'Highway to the Reich'.

They have some interesting ideas but are a very 1980s with individual base step reduction etc – a bit like Jim Wallmans 'Stonk' (a far better set of rules IMHO, available for free from freewargamesrules.co.uk).

I've used them for 20mm, adjusted the scale, and played Brigade sized games, and remember them as a lot of fun – even though all of the above statements are true. Give them a try.

I have created a reasonable detailed video review for Corps Commander. In addition the old yahoo group site has moved to IO:Group."link
