I'm looking for 1/2400 Pre-WWI models for the Austria Hungarian Navy, specifically ships for the Spanish American War period.
I've already looked at Panzerschiff, War Times Journal, Viking Forge, GHQ, and PFC-CnC. WTJ and VF have one ship each, fortunately different classes. Does anyone know of any other manufactures I've missed?

Tumbling Dice makes a 1/2400 range that includes Austro-Hungarians.

There was/is a small manufacturer of 2400 scale pre-dreads called Molniya. Their entire line of offerings maybe came to 30 2400 scale models. I seem to remember they had one A-H AC.

Their website is long gone, but they may still be in operation at some vestigial level.

Try, molniyafigs@aol.com

Theyre pretty good on the whole,, see pix. Just stay away from Regina Margherita. Trust me…

McKinstry, Tumbling Dice looks like the answer to my question! Thanks for the lead on this.

HMS Exeter, Ken Winland of Molniya has not been on TPM since April 2021. His business partner, sculptor and caster lives in Russia. It's likely this business has folded for good.

No Ken's business partner is Russian, but lives here. They are both busy with real life.

RAF, thanks for the info. I was unaware of this.

I have the A-H from Tumbling Disc and really like their miniatures.

WTJ's 3D predreadnoughts are outstanding, and include some Austrians:

wtj.com/store/index.html

WTJ only sells the files, so you have to find your own printer- here's one I have had good luck with, who owns and offers a lot of the WTJ files and can print the ones he doesn't own, if you work with him:

Having dealt with xpforge.com they also give good service. If I have a complaint, you have to fabricate your own masts.

When I reviewed WTJ before posting, there were only three A-H ships, and only one, the Maria Theresia was available at the time of the Spanish-America War. The other two are dated as launched in 1902 and 1905. Since what I'm looking at is a what-if, I could always say these were available at an earlier date.

I agree with you both that WTJ makes some nice models. I've not seen another manufacturer that covers the predreadnaught era as well as they do. If my memory isn't failing me, I seem to recall a larger number of predread models when WTJ sold printed models instead of only .3mf files.

Also thanks to you both for the recommendation of xpforge.
I'm also planning some other games in the predread era – US vs Germany or Japan as one example.

XP carries source material from designers other than WTJ (although they are, in my opinion, the best), and you may find something you can use, although I don't remember specifically seeing anything Austrian.

The navy of the Dual Monarchy is an interesting niche piece of history, but it does explain why you might find former submarine captains in a place like Salzburg in the 1930s.

Quick FYI, Monarch and K.Franz Joseph are both on the To Do list.
