"Here BK-Thorsten tells you a bit about the rules of "Achtung Panzer!".

Achtung Panzer! is played on a 6'x4' (approx. 180x120cm) playing field, on the short sides. This means that the distance between the deployment zones is very large compared to other systems. The game itself does not use any infantry at all. Only tank models are used. The number of points can of course be freely defined here, the recommended number of points from Warlord Games for a campaign game should be enough for 3-4 models per side. So far, the participating nations are Germany, Great Britain, the USA and Russia.

A first rather unusual concept is the game round, as it effectively consists of 3 rounds. An initiative phase determines the order in which all of the two players' tanks are activated, followed by 3 complete activation phases in which each tank is activated once. An activation phase consists of a movement action which the players secretly determine for their tanks at the beginning of the phase, followed by a tactical action such as firing or loading the gun. The latter can take two activation phases with large calibers. Other important tactical actions include spotting and targeting enemy tanks. You can also fire wildly "from the hip", but the chances of success are rather slim…"

Exploring the gameplay in this theme is really interesting, especially with the unique tactical approach when using only tank models, like the challenges in tap road bringing a more diverse and attractive gaming experience!
