I bought 1898s new Visigoths and a bunch of TYW French infantry.

I got a couple of units for Song of Ice and Fire.

Unrelated to Black Friday, but in the same week, I also bought three tranches of 100YW/WotR figures. It was an expensive week.

A box of Zvezda 1/72nd Napoleonic Russian infantry and a box of artillery, too: $10 USD a pop.

I got some new Middle Eastern buildings from Miniature Building Authority.

DriveThruRPG reprint of Boot Hill 3rd edition, ‘cause I'm curious about it. It's actually a Christmas present from my wife. She pressed the "Confirm" button, so it's totally on her.

Obciously, I didn't get a box of motivation to post pics and write-ups. But I did get some minis (full posts forthcoming) at my pricepoint (<= $1 USD/std infantry figure) from our FLGS:

Apparently, Zombiecide had a Monty Python set that didn't do well, so it was on massive discount:

The rest are all painted and in the appropriate civilian figures boxes waiting for the table this month. They are a little big compared to 25mm or 28mm, but that helps the game when they are key figures in a crowd of civvies.

Last Girl's second set was also on deep discount, so I got two boxes of the regular figures (still in progress) which includes survivors and monsters (zeds, werewolves, misc.). And one box of birds (in the back of the pic):

DOM suggested that the birds would be great as (1) supplements for our WWI pigeon communication figures, and (2) as enemies for our classic drive-in movie scenario…

I wonder waht movie we should use as a timer for that one?

Reaper has a number of freebies they toss into the December orders, so I placed an order with them. This is my token fantasy order for the year, but this year, I found it was being taken over by terrain things, like a ruined doorway and a fertility idol.

My local hobby store (The Dork Shop) slapped an additional discount on their already cheaper GW stuff, so yes, I took advantage of that!

No, I never left the house. I did, however, clean up my walk-in closet so that it can return to its function of hobby room.

Nope – had a water leak that fried our desktop so we took advantage of the sale to buy a new computer – to be fair, it was probably due anyway – and the computer store types tell me they can fix the old one – which pretty much took up all our shopping money

I was going to get an upgrade kit for my Prusa 3D printer, but I missed it. Might have to wait till next Thanksgiving for the next sale.
