Hi!

I've painted a SYW French regiment of cavalry, the regiment of Archiac Cavalerie:

The trumpeter's uniform is conjectural, it is based on the regimental lace (yellow and green braid). What do you think ?

I hope you'll like it !

They've come out nicely, mate. Front Rank figures?

Trying to pin down pre-Napoleonic musician uniforms is a pain. The King's blue livery is well known, plus a few regiments whose musicians are in portraits or described. But for the rest it's working out the livery colours of the regiments' commanders- and then guessing how those colours were applied.

Thanks for your message, yes they're Front Rank's ;-)

Beautiful work and I do like the work on the trumpeter.
