I found this little gem on YouTube at Cinematic Tabletop's channel. I'm organizing my collection to play some Normandy actions and was doing some YouTube research and found it on a chance search. It looks like he did some great research on the action, the skirmish for Ingolf Farm, with Colonel Cole's gutsy bayonet charge. Here's what Cinematic Tabletop says about the action:

"Normandy, France, 1944: On the afternoon of June 10th Colonel R. Cole and the men of the 502nd Airborne Parachute Infantry Regiment executed a spectacularly brave bayonet charge against dug-in Fällschirmjager of the 6th Parachute Regiment at Ingouf Farm.

This cinematic battle report commemorates that incredible battle on its 80th anniversary. Capture of this farm was critical to the Allied efforts to consolidate the beach heads of Utah and Omaha in the town of Carentan. Ingouf farm was the gateway to Carentan – Taking the farm would allow the Allies to assault the town. FJ6, the Lions of Carentan, would ensure that taking either would be a costly proposal. A formidable enemy indeed!"

He has some lovely terrain, an interesting set-up, and some great miniatures. Some of the narrative is 'over the top', but it's a lot of fun.

One thing that really got me as just how UNLUCKY the Germans were. At about 7 minutes in the German MG42 team needed 4+ on five dice and rolled all 3's!!! What are the odds…? LOL!
Seeing other people roll like that gives me some hope!

Must be an MG42 thing.
In a recent game of Nuts! my MG42 rolled this:

Thanks for sharing. Great painting, great terrain, and superb photographs (all devoid of game clutter!). You also managed to give some 1940 atmosphere to your report. As a non native English speaker, I also really enjoyed your spotless enunciation that made it possible to get whjat was happening.
