MillenniumCon Texas moved this year from Round Rock Texas (north Austin) to Temple to the north. It turned out to be a GREAT venue change. The Mayborn convention center was a much larger venue with multiple rooms for gaming. The staff was top notch and the full concessions offered a wide variety of food and snacks. The Temple Hampton Inn was the sponsor hotel and was everything you would expect from a Hampton/Hilton product. Now the important stuff:
Thursday afternoon, all day Friday and Saturday and half a Sunday of gaming, shopping and good fellowship. We had 24 vendors with Warlord Games and Sherwood War-games leading the pack. There were 70+ gaming tables in use at any one time.
Attendance was right at 400 with a small dip from our Austin/Round Rock convention from 2022. It was a good crowd each day with Thursday showing a large registration.
We are already looking forward to 2025, we hope you can make it.

I came, I saw, I had a good time! As noted the facility was excellent, the service outstanding and the games well organized, well presented and well managed. My only regret was in only participating in genres of long-standing interest instead of trying something new. As always, my thanks for the hard work, efficiency, and good attitude of the LSHM team. |

Woo hoo! That's me in the 12th picture at my Red Storm Rising battle for Alfeld game. I had a great time and looking forward to next year. |
