Jeff Lista, of Wargame Accessories, has died. His friend and partner is taking over the business with help from Jeff's wife Gail. I have been selling Jeff's products for a long time. He was one of the good ones.

R.I.P.

Thanks for letting us know

Indeed he was

When I was in college I went to a skirmishes in Florida back in the 80s – Jeff and Web put on a fantastic Franco Prussian War battle using Died for Glory – he was one of the friendliest Wargamers I ever met – went out of his way to introduce me to other gamers and invite me to play in other games both that weekend and other times long after the convention was over…

Will miss his spirit, gaming and friendship

My condolences to his family and friends. He supplied good products at a reasonable price efficiently. He will be missed.

That is sad news. Worked with Jeff for many years as a vendor of his. Was a really nice guy and will be missed. Condolences to his family and wife Gail.

Was he the guy who made the pre-cut metal bases in a plastic bag?

A constant fixture at the Florida convention circuit. I have carried his product for most of the 1990s and 200s.
He will be missed.

I never met him. I corresponded with him several years ago and re: cutting 1/4" by 1 1/2" metal strips for me to use in labeling bases. He quoted me a very reasonable price and I shortly received a bag or close to 200 strips. I still have some. He was a great person to deal with. Glad to hear someone is going to carry on the product line.

That is sad news indeed. I have bought literally thousands of his metal bases. Never met him to my loss. My condolences to his family.

79thPA that's the guy.

Thanks. I bought a lot of his stuff back in the day.

I bought loads of bases from Jeff over the years. He made them exactly as I requested, at a reasonable price and arrived in good time. I also sold his metal bases when I had my business. Great guy to deal with. Sorry to hear he passed away.

Very sorry to hear this. I have a fair number of his flat metal bases that I bought and really like them. My sincere condolences to his family.

I am happy to hear that the business will continue on.

I carried Jeff's products when I was in business. He was a true gentleman, an honest man, and an all-around good guy. He will be missed.

Probably bought over a 1,000 of his bases over the years. Talked with him over the summer and made another larger purchase.

Class guy and he will be missed.

I've been a customer of Wargames Accessories for years and have no plans to change. Steel is the way to go.
