Hope someone can help. I am building an 1808 Finnish army for the Swedish-Russians war. I have found some cavalry in bicorns suitable for the Karelian dragoons but am at a loss for the Nyland Dragoons in their shakos. I would consider head swaps, atlhough the idea of having to but another unit of cavalry just for their heads seems a waste. Any suggestion gratefully received. |

Ok. Was just looking at the uniform. I would have a.look at the British cavalry in the Peninsula in shako from AB miniatures. Scroll down in the link and see if you can do something with them: link |

Nice idea. moving the plume and with a bit of work I think they would work. Closest I've seen to the right shape shako. Hmmm made me wonder if I could get some infantry to donate their heads….Only need a dozen so woudln't be too bad a project |

I built this army too. I believe I used minifig british light dragoons with shako from the french revolution line if you can find them. Imay have some extras if they work for you. |

Thanks. Will check them out. I've cobbled together a 3d head. But nor sure the cost of getting it printed is worth it. Will check those minifigs out |
