Has anyone seen a seriously short campaign system--the sort of thing WI or MW used to print in maybe four pages--suitable for the Peloponnesian War, the Second Punic War, the Greco-Persian Wars or some combination of the above? Got a bunch of classical H&R figures and no battle generator. Thanks. |

There's a few generic or fictional campaigns in issues of Warning Order. Issue #56 has To The Walls, which is a relief of a siege campaign: PDF link To The Ends of the Earth is a fictional ancients campaign in Issue #50: PDF link There's a huge ancients/medieval campaign with event cards, mercenaries, etc., designed for Warmaster Ancients, but it can be used with any Ancient rules system. It's based off the map of the old Avalon Hill game Wizard's Quest, which has been used for 40+ years by gamers for campaigns. The links to the rules, large map, cards, etc., are on the left of the page: wfhgs.com/wma_marnon.html |
