The year four hurricanes crossed Florida, I worked for the Alabama EMA. One went into the Atlantic and doubled back.
Hurricon proceeded but I was called not work. So I had to drive 8 hours to the operations center. I gave my room to another attendee who had been hit.
The show went on. |
