Probably useless note about the Perry jezail in case you ever use another one. Lagoon Amusement Park, north of Salt Lake City (sorry, but I can't make up things like this) had a very similar gun from the Balkans and the butt had been "decorated" with lots of brass tacks--perhaps lots of little dots of brass paint or maybe you would want to do something else, like the decorations you see on buses from Afghanistan or Pakistan.
