The first 20mm I've painted for a good few years.

That is a useful review, thankyou. I've been looking at getting a couple for, like you say, wargaming models.

You did a good job on yours.

Kind of ironic, a company called Early War Miniatures producing the IVH.
Yeah, I know. Still…

Thanks Korsun, glad that it was helpful. Perfect for gaming with, robust models. If you're more into the modelling side of the hobby maybe less pleasing.

Murvihill yes when I looked at my title I thought "that makes no sense". 😅

I think that you did a fine job with them.

Thanks very much 79th! Much appreciated.

Nice paint job. Is that zimmerit on the hatches?

dr beard10 Sep 2024 2:10 a.m. PST

Disco Joe, yes they came with quite a covering of zimmerit. I'm not sure as to the accuracy of the placement of some of it, but there's no way I'd be scraping it off!

Nicely done indeed.

On the zimmerit it was my understanding it was applied only to vertical and slopped surfaces. Also I believe it wasnt added to skirting either.

Thanks Marc that's pretty much what I thought.
