A couple of ddays ago I posted a description of how during the Winter War a Finnish Lt chased off a T@8 with just pistol fire. I thought it would be kind o ffun to recreate it. Here goes:

An AFV unsupported by infantry, I think if the defenders had just shouted "BOO!" that would be enough for any shut down tank crew to scarper. |

deadhead +1. Korvessa, Not sure standing in the middle of the track is sensible. The guy would be out to the side. Prosably needs more ground gover to look credible. On hell of a big tank! Storing a company of them must be hell. |

I agree with UshCha. They should both be coming in from the same side as the suppressive fire, the flank, or the rear. This scenario description could explain the lack of infantry support. Maybe the infantry was suppressed and the tank continued forward not knowing it. Perhaps he moved too fast and left the infantry behind. If the tank stopped was he attacking or waiting for the infantry to catch up? did the T-28 withdraw because he realized he had no infantry support and Fog of War or was it the pistol fire. In the T-28 the commander is also the gunner. Scale-wise, Lt. Virkki is not 40 yards away as stated in the story narrative. Wolfhag |
