Has anyone else experienced the Vallejo Matt Varnish Spray sometime being shiny in spots rather than matt?

JimDuncanUK01 Aug 2024 12:13 p.m. PST

This usually happens when it is too humid and you haven't shaken it enough, try at least 2 minutes and test it on something expendable first.

I've not used the Vallejo Matt Varnish Spray, although I have one ready to use, but, I ALWAYS spray Matt Varnish over Gloss varnish.
Humidity and temperature still need to be in the correct range though.

If you want a really effective Matt spray go for Windsor and Newton Professional.

I haven't used a spray varnish for years.
Too scared! I use brush only
