Sorry if this has been mentioned previously, though I haven't noticed a post regarding it.

I just thought I share that a new version of Red Badge of Courage is being worked on by Lionheart Filmworks and will hopefully be released sometime in 2025.

For those who might be interested, the link below takes you to the website, which has a teaser trailer and a link to a Kickstarter for those who may wish to support the project.

There are also a few videos regarding the project on their channel on Youtube. Their channel also has a plethora of ACW related videos.

I have nothing to do with the production, just an Aussie with a keen interest in the FIW – ACW and more editions of the Red Badge of Courage than I really need… according to my wife.

OK, this could be good. I'll have to watch for it. Even without Audie Murphy and Bill Mauldin.

Does look very good!

An appealing pitch. The uniforms and gear, as were those in the "John Boy" version, are much better than those in the Audie original.

True, though the black and white Audie Murphy film created images not unlike contemporary photographs of the war and thus a sort of 'realism' in that it recreated the way we perceive the war today.
A friend of mine years ago interviewed a WWI veteran who began by saying he was going to tell the interviewer something he had probably never thought about: "I remember the Great War in colour!"

Sadly, it looks like this film will never see the light of day, the Kickstarter failed.

Sad.
