We have been using Valour & Fortitude for a few years, a few weekends ago we ran a c 10,000 pt game (6mm scale, c 150 battalions, 50 cavalry regiments per side, we reckon c 20,000 little 6mm models on table). Austria & Poland vs Russia, Prussia & Wurttemburg.

Scenario is that post 1809, with Austria weakened, Russia and Prussa decide to divide Austria's Polish territories between the 2 of them.

Austria responds, demands its new ally-by-marriage France helps, and battle is joined….this is the report of the culminating battle

Vey impressed with how easily the V&F rules handle the size of game, the abstracted movement and simple calculations for events / outcomes kept it flowing nicely, kept excitement and tension up all game. Took about 16 hours to play, start to finish, 7 players of which 3 were newbies (so we reckon it took about as long as a real battle that size would).
