Fascinating, pitting Skaven/Were-Rats against Undead. I like it! Gorgeous armies. Love the straight-forward battle, except for the delicious twist of the tunnelers who came up from beneath the Undead! I love a good surprise twist like this! I ran a battle with Skeletons as a force for an evil Human army. The Skeletons were deployed at the bottom of a river, being called forth by an evil Priest, when needed, emerging in the midst of the good Army crossing said River. It was a wicked surprise for the good guys, and surprisingly fun for the evil players. I laughed out loud, with glee, when they emerged, totally shocking and surprising the good players: they protested, but I explained the Skeletons don't breathe, they could rest within that river for decades, until they were called forth… They started as a hidden unit, only appearing/being deployed onto the tabletop when the Priest called them into action. Cheers! |
