Ok, maybe a little less wierd, since I'm looking to do a "historical" US vs. USSR 1945 and later scenario, but I figured this was the most likely forum to ask. . .

Not being a huge fan of FOW rules, but a big fan of the new Battlefront line of 15mm "Operation Unthinkable" minis, I was looking for a good set of rules which specifically includes stats for these paper panzers, what ifs, etc. (i.e. aus, Tortoise, T28, usw.)

I was thinking of using the Panzer Grenadier
"Iron Curtain" modules as a basis, since most of these vehicles appear there as well (in addition to soviets with AKs), but I was
wondering whether any mini rules – perhaps Nuts! Weird War (it's unclear to me how many "realistic" units it has values for)??

Thanks ahead of time for your recommendations

I have NO idea why this posted 3 times – and 3 times within each post! I can't even seem to delete the duplicates – sorry, guys.

I'm going to suggest "Konflict '47" for your needs. You can take or leave the "super science" rules and find quite a straightforward and adaptable system for WW2.

Thanks for the suggestion, though I'm also not a huge fan of Bolt-Action-based rules either (I like things "crunchier").

That's why I find myself in a quandry: I'm looking for some rules with "verisimilitude" in their combat systems etc., but for things that never existed; So far, Panzer Grenadier seems to be the closest to what I'm looking for, but I was hoping that there might be something I didn't have to convert.
