Ryan's stuff looks great, because there's quite a bit of skillful, deft work put into his basing scenics.

I've not used it, but there's a Vallejo colored texture paste or gel that looks similar to the basic mix presented in the video.

Enjoyed watching this how-to presentation very much!

Very useful video but taking almost 30 minutes to texture 2 bases seems excessive. Much time seems taken by aligning the texture to the figures. What if you put on the texture and then added the figure with some time to flatten where you pushed them down? The finished sample you show is beautiful.
