No matter what happens after the next election. There will be turmoil, chaos, discontent, upset, protests/riots in the streets, etc., etc.

May rival the Summer of 2020, except pro-Hamas/anti-Israel mobs will be in the mix. Along with BLM spreading derision, hate, etc. for anybody who is Caucasian.

Antifa is probably preparing from now …

The 30,000-50,000 illegal aliens from the PRC/CCP may become a "5th column".

The criminals from Central & South America will up their crimes of rape, murder, and anything else evil they can think of.

The streets of sanctuary cities, towns and states will resemble something out of the movies e.g. Mad Max Thunder Dome, Escape from NY & LA, the burning of Atlanta from that old movie with Clarke Gable, and scenes short of any WotW movie, etc.

But at least the USA will not be turned into the USSA … I look forward to seeing this on TV. All channels will have their own version of what is happening. E.g. "mostly peaceful protesters" but what going on behind those "reporters" looks like the 1st or 2d levels of Hell …

Oh yeah … some great TV watching coming up I'd think. I'll have my .45 & AR-15 next to or near me at all times. Just in case, just to be sure …

@dragongunner

If you can respond to what I said at 8:03 in good faith without gas lighting me pretending you did then we can move forward.

You didn't answer any of my questions, all you did was explain why you're not going to answer my questions and then demanded I answer your questions instead. Here's what you wrote:

@SBminisguy

I am not attempting to avoid this topic. The way you present your position is, you are right and need to be proven wrong. You get to be the judge of whether you are proven wrong. You also also seem to have taken some moral high ground that war is bad. Too answer your questions I would need to be able to predict the future and assail the moral high ground you have awarded yourself.
You would immediately dismiss anything if it does not confirm what you already believe to be true.

So I am using your tactics and your logic asking the polar opposite of your questions without claiming any moral high ground. Just because you asked questions first and hold some imaginary moral high ground does not make my questions invalid. They are the other other potential possibilities you seem inclined to ignore because they do not support your position or narrative.

That's not an answer. You favor the war, fine. You want to win. Fine. What does "Winning" look like? What is "victory" to you? And is it realistically achievable? If you think it is, what will it take to get there? I don't "presume I'm right" but I presume you should have some idea of what the hell you want out of this war, you and should be able to explain that!

Once you've actually answered this, I'll be happy to armchair diplomat more on your questions, which I've already answered to a large extent anyway.

I don't get it -- you claim you're not gaslighting, and then proceed to gaslight me again. What's the deal here --- just answer the damn questions and we'll dialogue, or just say ya don't know or don't want to answer and move on.

Whoa ! Guys I think sometimes we are taking things a bit too seriously … yes ?

Yes… this is happening lately.

Discussions about the Ukraine war generate many posts and significant emotion. However, much of the name calling and vitriol on this and other threads seems to come from one side (e.g., orcs, ruscum, useful idiots, Putin apologist/stooge, etc.) under the implicit assumption anyone not agreeing with the majority is a fool, morally deficient or both.

Actually I am not that emotionally invested as some of you. SB minisguy could have been talking about any benign subject. His conduct and how he interacts earned him his stifle…

35th OVI asked for theories this encourages debate. Some people on both sides of the issue should consider his approach instead of I am right and you must prove me wrong…

yep, sure, he can stifle -- what an odd guy. I've explained my position, and that he still refuses to answer any questions and instead insist I answer HIS questions, and then acts like I'm the wierdo here? Fine, whatever.

I never asked that -- I asked him to state his position! That's it. He didn't want to, fine.

Interesting incident -- Hungary announces an investigation into foreign influence campaigns into domestic Hungarian politics by the US State Dept and CIA, and the EU, and a crazy lady drives through barricades to almost hit Orban's presidential limo in a motorcade and ends up killing a motorcyle cop…coincidence? Maybe yes, maybe no?

Excellent choice, great way to keep yourself from answering questions!

Is this how conspirary theories are started?

Well FWIW … Many European nations are being "invaded" by huge numbers of illegal aliens. In some towns and cities, they outnumber the citizens of those locations. Crime has increased …

Similar to what is happening in the USA. With numbers of illegal aliens estimated somewhere between 12-20 million that have crossed the border, have been flown in by the Gov't, etc., etc.

Well it is an election year …

Legion, you might find this interesting. Not just Europe and the US. We have a mediterranean restaurant we frequent. Owned by Turks. They complain to me about all the Syrians who "migrated" there and the problems they cause, non-assimilation and non-respect of Turkish culture.

Yes, I too have heard this before. We have a few Med eateries here too. Very good food, BTW. IIRC there are Turks, Lebanese, Syrian, Jordanian, etc. owners of those places.

However, we see many of these illegal aliens or actual migrants, don't want to be Americans. They are here for various reasons. However, if you want to be an American you do have accept the American culture, standards, etc. But as I see, e.g. there are many here that are of Italians, Greeks, Ukraine, etc. ethnic decent. Many people still keep their culture, do things that their people from "the old country" did. It is part of their history, norms, etc.

However, we still are Americans first. As many of us were born here. As were our parents etc. We are Americans regardless.

Now we know many people from the Med can be very tribal, clannish, etc. So, they don't readily accept others from that same region. In some cases, there is a long history between them. Many times, they have old grievances, etc. going back a very long time, etc. Even though they live here in the US. And those grievances are passed down to their children, etc. Even though they never have been in those counties.

We see what the Turks have done fairly recently they moved into Syrian lands. To go after Kurds, ISIS etc. IIRC the Turks are still in Syria.

Of course, e.g. those of Arminian decent still don't like the Turks for the ethnic cleaning that occurred during WWI. I don't blame them.

So, it does not surprise me old habits, hatreds, etc. from the old world die hard … Even if you were born here …

I've even seen in the media. Those from other nations that have legally become Americans. They protest against all these illegal aliens. For many reasons.
