Here is an overview of my VASSAL module for Optio, available for download here. I've spend some time streamlining the module for gameplay. The module has these armies: - Early Rome
- Hoplite Greece
- Macedonia
- Achaemenid Persia
- Seleucid Empire
- Republican Rome
- Late Carthage
- Numidia
- Spain
- Gaul
Also completing the terrain. Terrain now comprises: - Hill segments
- Large river (with/without ford)
- Small river
- Stream
- Sea
- Wood
- Scrub
- Treacherous marsh
- Easy Marsh
- Broken ground
- Ploughed land
- Vineyard
- Unfortified camp
- Fortified camp

Module updated (generals and commanders revamped and some inconsistencies cleaned up). Available here. Anyone interested in giving the system a whirl let me know and I'll send you the ruleset.
