Does any manufacturer make one of these mounted to a field carriage?

This place in Norway does some great work! Postal service was decent.
Communicate with them to get the exact size that you want!

The boat howitzer had a light carriage similar to the mountain howitzer carriage. d88mm1940, your carriage shown is for naval guns in fixed fortifications.

I'm not aware of any in 28mm. In 15mm Stone Mountain includes 2 rifled guns in their mountain howitzer pack, which are pretty close.

I was told they put one of these on ironclads for use signaling?

There are several on display including one built by the Tidewater Civil War Naval reenacting group. They are not fortification guns. They are not regular ship's armament although they were used on the deck of vessels.

These are relatively small and lightweight "howitzers" with bronze barrels. They were made to be used as a bow gun on landing launches and then quickly shifted to very lightweight, almost skeletal carriages. They only stand about 3.5 feet tall on their carriage.

Anyone make them in 28mm?

I believe RAFM does a 25mm model – but in the fixed fortification motif.
