Is there anyone that is interested in playing 1/35th bolt action games.

Hi John,

For a quite a few year I'm gathering a 1/35 collection of miniatures to play Bolt Action or another ruleset. I didn't try yet.
Others have already done some games with 1/35 -1/32 miniatures and the feedback it's positive.
AFAIK, from what I read, some prefer to keep the original measuring of Bolt Action, others to double it.
I guess that you have to put a lot of scenery, and limit the number of AFV.
One lesson I can share with you,if I may, it's to use the scenery who takes less storing space, vegetation who can use with other scales, paper houses, etc… I've done a folding house, with card and EVA foam it's not too complex.

I've rally enjoyed painting those bigger models but of course , storage could be quickly an inconvenient.

Take a few cheap Tamiya boxes and test it.

Happy new year.

It sounds like an interesting idea, but I would use a different set of rules. Bolt Action rules are a bit 'coarse grain' i.e. down to section level. With 1/35 scale figures I would want something that allows more scope for individual figure action.

I remember about 15 years ago, there were a couple of articles in Wargames Illustrated about Crossfire in 1/35 scale – followed up at Salute by a huge game

It all looked awesome. I think a BA game would look the same and play well..

Sadly my painting skills wouldn't be up to it, but I hope it goes well for you..

I have 54mm or 1/32 or 1/35 (depends on who you talk to), but I'm using Crossfire instead.

Good luck with BA. A number of guys in my group like it for 28mm. I'm sure it'd be great in the One True Scale. :-)
