My first completely new unit for Chain of Command in some time, as I've mostly been adding to existing units. I've been meaning to create a platoon of Fallschirmjager ever since we played the Road to Bremen campaign and I proxied my SS for them. As they will feature in the Market Garden supplement and future campaigns set on the Dutch/German borders in 44/45 I thought it was about time to paint one up.

I bought them over 12 months ago and they've been primed and ready to go for some time. I think an irrational fear of tackling the splinter camouflage put me off but in the end once I found a technique it was much less arduous than I thought.

Not on the blog?

Probably not enough to post, I was on a mission to get these done in time so no work in progress pictures. I will however add them to the 20mm German post that already exists.
