I've added a few more additions to my growing Vietnam collection, this time it's the local inhabitants. Lovely little figures and they have painted up a nicely.

There are armed versions of the same figures

Them is some powerfully armed civilians.

But these days, they would be victims of Imperialist aggression. Brilliant to show the same characters as harmless civilian victims and then murderous slaughterers of their own countrymen. Please God spare us from guerilla asymmetric warfare (but it seems to be the norm now)

Great work Russ. Keep it up. When most people do Vietnam figures, myself included, they neglect civilians and civilian dressed Cong. TIG

Thanks deadhead, the armed versions are a really nice touch. The lines some much more blurred nowadays, good guys! Bad guys it's no longer a clear cut case! Although it seems the norm to back the under dog. I loved my younger days, the good guys wore white and the bad guys wore black. If only life was as simple as the western movies from days gone by.

Thank Tig its much appreciated, I really do like the option of both armed and unarmed figures. When the enemy blends in it must be a truly scary experience.

Thanks guys its always much appreciated and warmly welcomed.

I too think we should keep politics out of this discussion board. It's just not the venue for such debate.

In the meantime. Very nice figures. A clever concept. Well painted and based. I think we can all agree on that much…

What is the difference between civilians who fight an enemy -- colonial American Minute Men and soldiers who hide as civilians? Whatever the culture?

Thanks guys, I will be honest I try to keep it all about the figures and painting rather then anything else. I paint purely for the pleasure it brings, I try not to dwell on some things the world can be challenging.
