Quite a few turkeys there, too. Only 9 are on my list of really good flicks, and several are on my list of never agains.

In my early 20s, I literally lived in the movie theater in 1984. I saw most on the big list at least once in the theater with at least one of my brothers or sisters. Only 3 on the big list I've never seen. Only a handful I first saw on VHS or HBO. This is my favorite movie year ever. Plus so many good family memories when we all were still alive and young.

2010: The Year We Make Contact
Dune
Ghostbusters
Gremlins
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
The Last Starfighter
The NeverEnding Story
The Terminator

Dang, this was hard. I have more than 10 favorites from this year!

Okay, to choose 10, in alpha order:

2010
Dreamscape
Ghostbusters
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Runaway
Splash
Starman
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eight Dimension
The Terminator

Honorary Mention: Red Dawn (Loved it back then, but my attraction to it has waned as I have grown older.)

These are ones I'd watch again. The others I either wouldn't, never saw in the first place, and still have no interest in.
