Hi so i picked up CAS and QF3 – very impressed with the depth of these, but its kind of kicked off a bit of a obsession now with ww2 naval rulesets and in particular i like to find all those forgotten past oens and lesser know current ones is anyone here familiar with the 1971 rules "Victory at Sea"? nothing to do with the contemporary game of the same name. I have not been able to find a copy anyone to buy or even just download online. Iwould like to know if anyone here in the forum might have a copy and might be so kind as to share a scan of these rules with me? other rules i am looking for are "Battlestations Battlestations", "War at Sea" (not related to the board game), and "In Harm's Way lastly has anyone here used "Force Fleet Command" rules or "Surface Fire" or the Supremacy at Sea rules from Canada supremacyatsea.com/word/? |

Tp add to EC's list: Panxerschiffe rules and hundreds of ship models from several eras. Additionally, they now carry N scale TRUCKS if you are a model railroader. panzerschiffe.com/index.html |

thanks for that list – i wish i could find a copy of Victory at Sea 1971, Task Force Naval, and War at Sea Action Stations Naval by David Manley, i dont know that one – i know the Minden Games Action Stations - actually you could add the Minden Games rulesets here too
Action Stations Atlantic Advance Salv0 European Theater Battleship Captain and from Metagaming there was a Command at Sea, which was just a ruleset for the Savo island battle also Yamato from japan for pacific theater battles, which has english language rules in it and NWS had 3 rulesets – Battleships Zenith, which is ww2 era and for miniatures, but then also NWS WW2 Naval Warfare and WW2 No Safe Port – both of these last two are not for miniatures so far as i can tell, instead hexes and counters and counters representing divisions – could be good for operational campaigns i think? If someone has a conversion for using the NWS titles in miniature that would be cool as No Safe Port has additional solitaire rules |

And then there was a set called "Clear For Action" that my friends and I played in the 1980s and 1990s. |

"There's the Effing Scheer" was mentioned on the other thread. Going by the title it must be worth a look? |

GeorgB the panzerschiffe rules were a staple of our group 25 or so years ago due to their simplicity and the 'campaign' kinda/sorta Solomons based. They gave a quick if not terribly accurate game and were good to intro people to almost any era from 1880's to WWII |

Nimitz by Sam Mustafa includes a campaign game. I played the campaign game and it was a very good system and loads of fun. There was a tactical battle but I didn't pay too much attention as I was not involved and surface actions bore me. Task Force by Ben King is strictly tactical. Here is a summary of them: link They are available for sale here: link |
