We ran a playtest of what we hope is the final version of James Moriss's forthcoming Midgard rules, we used my North European Bronze Age collection, great game at East Leeds Club, details on the blog here: link

I had a long chat at Salute with one of the team about these rules. Really looking forward to them coming out… |

In the latter stages of finalising things I believe, fingers crossed not long now. |

Beautiful miniatures for a very interesting niche period. I'm aware of the Foundry figures in 28mm and I think Mick Yarrow has a range in 15mm, wouldn't mind seeing more offerings (if I was greedy, perhaps more in 15mm and 10mm). |

I cant comment on other scales but there are simple conversions and pinches for 28mm, archers and slingers from the Ancient Mediteranean in kilts work well. Perry Sudanese plastics with head swaps too. |

Lovely stuff as always Roger. I had a good chat with James M at Salute and corresponded since. Can't wait for these to be out. |

I am enjoying them and just considering basing. |
