Hi guys

I've been inspired to resurrect my 1/72 fantasy project, have been messing around with printing 10mm fantasy, and been having fun with it, but I struggle to paint that small, I have lots of 15mm, and 28mm fantasy figs, but I'm just drawn to 1/72 for some reason, I've got a fair bit on the go in this scale, and have just picked these three projects to start with, high elf cavalry, the plastics a little fragile, these are mad3 from Zvezda Russian guard Cossacks, I'll need to replace or fix the lances, and finish of a few details as well as the bases. Chaos foot knights, converted from dark alliance Cimmerians, and some Greek mythology inspired warriors, converted from the same Cimmerians and Caesar hoplites. Need to dust them off and start painting.

I started gaming with 1/72 plastics back around 1974/75, so I still have a soft spot for them.

Many of the 1/72nd plastic figures are beautiful sculpts.

Red Box has quite a lot of fantasy miniatures on their site. They are quite good quality. I've been collecting sets from them, for a few years now. I love their figures. They paint up nicely. Cheers!

I do 15mm (for wargaming) and 28mm for RPG. 1/72 is nicely between. I also do 3d printing for both, but 1/72 would be easier to print for then 15/18mm. For strictly army printing Forest Dragon and Green Skin miniatures has some nice sculpts that they have scaled for 10mm printing (Warmaster). These print up nicely in 15mm when resized. Lots of 28mm STLs will scale down to 15mm, but many would be not so useful is scaled from 28mm to 10mm, although people have scaled some down to 6mm sucessfully. I have found that you can scale STLs I have created with HeroForge down to 15mm quite sucessfully, and maybe you could scale them down to 10mm if you design the miniature correctly. Lets you create your own miniatures quite easily. You can also use the same miniature in multiple scales. 1/72 you should be able to print just about most of the miniatures you can print at 28mm.

Love the chaos warriors.
I know from your posts your not a gamer,
Its seems such a shame that such wonderful minutes won't see a wargames table.
