It has been a long time without posting a scenario but real life (kids, job…) and new projects have made it difficult…

I wanted to do a Raid on Innsmouth scenario for Fear of the Dark, but I wanted to make a final chapter with a battle between soldiers and deep ones, thus I decided to use my upcoming ww2 solo skirmish ruleset to play that battle.

The scenario was fast, dynamic, lethal and really really fun!

I hope you enjoy it!

This looks like it would be a great scenario for 1920ish National Guard troops. And of course now I am thinking of a 'Dad's Army' type encounter.

Or use Depression Era gangsters, as The Mob decides anyone that secretive and making frequent short sea voyages must be competing bootleggers.

+12 to robert piepenbrink. Love that idea for a scenario, it just appeals to my twisted take on things :)

And nice looking game too, Tereydavi! dr pepper

Thanks a lot!

The Game was intended to be like a final chapter/epilogue of a Fear of the Dark campaign.

Like in Lovecraft's story the army ends raiding the town to end with the Deep ones and hybrids.

I'll play the rest of the scenes where the soldiers have to raid the Marsh House and the lighthouse

That was great.

In the story, the Navy simultaneously depth-charges the offshore base of Deep Ones -- or at least, where they believe the Deep Ones are. I'm not sure how I'd do that as a miniatures game, but I'm thinking the most of the action will be the Navy looking for the target and the Deep Ones misdirecting the Navy.
