Hello all, I am looking to get into 1/600 Aircraft, primarily Vietnam/Cold war era. Wondering what your recommendations are for miniatures? I am vaguely aware of Tumbling Dice and Pico from decades ago, but was not sure how the landscape has changed with 3D printing now. Any insight/recommendations you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am in the US. Thanks! -Max |

Hard to beat Picoarmor in terms of cost/quality. I have over 1500 1/600 aircraft from a variety of manufacturers and Pico ia a go-to source. There is a designer, Echoco, on Shapeways who has the Snafu Store which has a lot of real oddball stuff, like the RIVET JOINT, COBRA BALL, RIVET RIDER, COMMANDO CALL, Swallowtail, a whole array of C-130 variants, tankers, transports, along with the usual combatants. But like most Shapeways stuff, they tend to be a bit pricey (not Echoco's fault). There are a few other shops on Shapeways, but Echoco/Snafu Store gets the vast majority of my $$$$ on that site. |

I used to get TD thru Brookhurst, but now I've been using Pico. |
