I was gifted a roughly 35mm casting of Liberty Leading the People. The flag is cast as one piece with the woman. Anyone have any tips to share about how to paint it?

I believe there is a famous painting of this subject, on which I expect the figure is based.

Oh, that wasn't the issue, the issue was painting the cast on flag. I have the painting bookmarked. The figure is now done. I'll post a link to photos when it's completely finished.

interesting, great figure to have a model of. I had mistakenly thought the painting's subject was the 1848 revolution, but now lookign it up it was the 1830 revolution, though i know many mistake it to be representing the 1789 revolt
