Wonder at the lifespan of this post. Looks great to me but surely will be spotted and censored by The Powers That Be. I will be interested to see.

I am almost a poet I notice

These images are digitally colored not painted right?

They are indeed Harry. Useful painting references if accurate

Absolutely superb sculpts!

Your Grace, those are renders of the stl files, but I would be interested to see some of the actual prints painted up as they could be fantastic with the right printer.

Very nice figures.

But strictly speaking, nothing is 'Austro-Hungarian' before the Ausgleich of 1867 …

House pedant.

Glad you like them boys…

One day, or course, we will be ordering or printing full colour 3D prints. It will undoubtedly reinvigorate the miniatures hobby.

I ordered some of these the other day – was very impressed.

They are on my painting bench for this week. I'll post a picture when they are done

Kind Regards

Hope to see them soon!…

Remarkable! The artillery figures are excellent 👍
Question: do you actually make the figures and distribute them, or sell files only? Thanks!

Tango0105 Apr 2023 3:14 p.m. PST

Desperate… I only show them on the site because I like to share here what I consider good stuff….

Not having ever contributed to a kickstarter or bought an stl file of anything, I'm not sure how to go about it. If it was still going, I think it would be straightforward. But how do I go about buying these now?

Incompetently,
John

Too late… this one is finished…

So no one can ever buy these again? That seems a terrible pity. In my ignorance, I thought kickstarters were a way of covering the cost of initial set up for production, with the 'investors' getting first dibs, a better price, and maybe a special miniature or similar as a thank you. I didn't realise it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Cheers,
John

There are many which began again… you must be attentive …

I will definitely keep tabs on it thanks.

The other thing is, did anybody pay to have a commercial licence, that people could then buy miniatures from?

4th Cuirassier09 Apr 2023 8:30 a.m. PST

I was so disappointed when I discovered that only about one in five Austrian units was Hungarian, in the blue strides. I'd been hoping for 50:50.

Erzherzog Johann12 Apr 2023 2:53 a.m. PST

I was super disciplined – I found a Korps (at 1:80 or 100) with only 'German' units so I wouldn't be tempted.

It even had a white clad chevauleger regiment …

Now I am close to painting some Hungarians, Grenz (mostly in white of course …) and some hussars. I won't know myself.

Cheers,
John

Ps, I found that the infantry are still available as an add on to the cavalry, so pretty much all I need :~)

4th Cuirassier

In 1809, in both of the Korps (VIII & IX) deployed in Italy 50% of the Line Regiments were Hungarian. VII Korps in Poland had 3 of out 7 (43%) Hungarian. So definitely historical precedence for your preferred ratio…
