I just realized it would be possible to get a Warcry Warband and play for FREE! The rules and compendium are free downloads. Warhammer stores give out and AoS Vindicators to people interested in Warhammer. Visit a few stores and you'll have 6, which is a Warband. Genius I say! |

… and the nearest store is at least 50 miles away minimum. Heaven knows where the next nearest is. I'll pass. |

Or you can buy minis from someone other than GW…. |

So, when a manufacturer runs an introduction promotion to get people to try their game, you see this as a chance stuff your own pockets. I wonder what the cost in time and gas would be. Going to 6 different stores and feigning interest to complete your warband. Yes indeed, "True Genius" |

Going to 6 different stores If I recruited Little and Mrs Elmo it could be two stores so 60 miles round trip. I have a Dominion Box so that's two Warbands with more options than you ever need. |

So, if I drive 1000 miles I can get a free mini? |

Why do I get the feeling Mr Elmo is pulling our leg with his "brilliant plan." ;-) |

The words "brilliant plan" are, imo, rather a give away. Much like those miniatures. |
