Not sure what this is adding to existing platoon-level games like Chain of Command?

The WW2 skirmish rules/game market is saturated isn't it.

The fact that its been done before has never stopped there being a million rule sets for Napoleonic ACW and WW2 !

This seems to have been germinating for a while so we will need to see more.

Warwick & Piers (Battlegroup Authors) are working on a new skirmish rules. Being a Battlegroup enthusiast, I'm in on trying out anything they come up with. I play Battlegroup with 15mm but for this I'm probably pull out my 20mm collection.

It's more like there's lots of choice for different styles. Some people prefer point-drive "balanced" games like Bolt Action, others like TOE and Mission Drive games like NUTS. Some people prefer pre-canned scenarios and campaigns, and other like DIY scenarios and campaigns. Some want only head to head, others like co-op and solo gaming.
